On April 20, 2021, Grassroot Girls, along with UNLV's Harrah's School of Hospitality and Nevada Hands & Voices, hosted an advocacy empowerment webinar for girls in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. This inclusive webinar allowed the girls (and boys!) to see first hand that their differences do not determine their abilities and that everyone has the right to advocate and raise awareness for causes they feel passionate about.
